Chiddy's artwork is mesmerizing. I love her choices of colours and how they are kind of abstract but still so real. I don't know her, but I'd describe Chiddy as intellectual, funny and open. She answers questions like 'What do you want to be when you're older?' with 'a recognized creative' and others with completely random unrelated answers. If one day I'm half the artist she is, I will be an incredibly happy person.

Tumbl Wid Chiddy!
Chidera, or Chiddy is a previous student from my school, the Brit school and currently studies fashion design at London College of Fashion. I've never met her before but from what I've been told about Chiddy, her twitter page and her artwork she's genuinely such a talented, unique individual. I can't wait for her to start selling some prints of her artwork; I'd buy them all in a second!

East End Thrift Store Sale
Today I went to one of the most amazing sales you could ever dream of. East End Thrift Store is a vintage in East London and every few months they hold a £1 sale. That's right, you read correctly. A £1 sale. Jumpers, jeans, coats, skirts, dresses everything costs a £1. Some people definitely took this as an opportunity to restock their whole wardrobes. I literally saw people with suitcases, massive black bags, one girl was dragging two ikea bags full of clothes down the road!

Before I went, I was quite worried. Would the clothes be a decent quality? Was someone going to have a bitch fight over a dress they claimed to see first? And how long was I going to have to queue outside in the cold?
Luckily all of my questions had positive outcomes. There were a few stains and rips but overall the condition of them was pretty incredible for £1. I arrived about 30minutes after it started and I only had to wait outside for an hour or so. And thank goodness there were no crazy people looking to fight over clothes!

Although I didn't buy much I'm quite happy with what I did purchase. I walked in hoping to buy some jumpers and hopefully a few trousers or jeans. I didn't find any bottoms that I liked and were actually in my size but I'm really happy about the sweaters that I bought. They're also cute and after a wash (or two) they'll be ready to wear.
Whether you're a dedicated thrifter or you're just looking for a few bargains, I'd definitely recommend you to watch out for East End Thrift Shop's next sale.
Lots of love,

Inspiration

Here are few images that I've collected in the past few days and I just thought I'd share some of them with you. I love the first picture of Milla Jovovich at just 13 years old. I means seriously, how is it even possible for a pre-pubescent girl to be so beautiful. Also I'm really loving this minimalist but super cool look that I've seen a lot of people doing. I wear too many patterns and colours to ever be able to pull it off but I adore the style.

Ootd 2/12
Today I went to my first life drawing class and it's was quite interesting. I've been looking forward to doing it for quite a while and I loved it.
Yesterday a bought this amazing pleated mini skirt for £3 at a charity shop and I'm almost certain I'm going to be wearing it everyday this week.

Too poor to buy Christmas presents...
It's less than a month until Christmas which means I'm going to be even more broke than usual once I've done my Christmas shopping. There are so many people that I want to give presents too and I just know I don't have enough money buy something for everyone. So I came up with the ingenious idea to knit everyone scarves! Each scarf only costs about £3 worth of wool and 3/4 days of my time.

I like shiny pink things
I started my day wearing this.
I based the outfit around the tartan skirt which I made but I've never actually worn since it went horribly wrong. By covering the mistakes with a plain black jumper, it's sort of wearable. Even though I was terrified that the skirt would just fall apart half way through the day. I bought my belt from a charity shop for about £2.00 I think...

I found this AMAZING pink maxi skirt in one of the fabric baskets at school and I love it! Every time I look down I just feel so happy. Unfortunately it has a massive rip at the bottom so I'm going to have to cut it but there is no way I'm throwing this skirt away. It's my princess skirt :)
Lots of love,
