A troop of models walked in a military inspired collection for Balmain wearing army green jackets made slightly feminine withs structured pleats and plaited details. Badass animal prints, sleek back hair and bright oranges and yellows were perfect to show a strong, sophisticated Balmain woman.
Balenciaga
This was Wang's third season at Balenciaga and I adore him more and more every time he shows. Thick knits and ribbed pullovers featured heavily in this show, Wang wanted to make jumpers special again. Fur snoods and effortless draping made these clothes look luxurious and the modern use of zippers gave an urban edge to the pieces.
Sonia By Sonia Rykiel
Bubble gum pinks, graphic blossom prints and powder blues gave a for a fresh, fun collection. This Sinia Rykiel collection gave plenty of choice for outerwear this winter; from bright blue tartan prints to gorgeously comfortable fur coats. Although there was no real motif throughout the clothes, it didn't really matter. You knew exactly who the client was and what type of girl would wear these clothes (aka me :p)
This week I started a new art project at college a large part of it is about learning about photography. For the psst three days I've been taking loadssss of photos so I thought I'd share a few of them with you. They've mainly been taken from around my college and east London.
I'm sure you all know of Pharrell Williams' infamous Vivienne Westwood hat and now you could own it! If you have about £15,000 that is... Pharrell is selling his hat on eBay and giving all of the proceeds to the charity From One Hand to Another. The bidding started off at $200 and has already reached $14,500 so with another 6 days to go I can't even imagine how much someone is going to end up buying this hat for! But to be honest, if I hadn't he money I would definitely buy it; every time I see him wearing it I wish I had one. So I've compiled a list of not quite so awesome hats but still pretty fantastic ones that you can buy for a much more reasonable price.
Elephant Snap Back Asos £15
Logo Hat House of Holland £10 (on sale)
I know that it is completely indulgent buying something just for the brand but this is probably the only thing that I could afford from House of Holland so I need to buy it ASAP.
Earphone Beanie Topshop £18
This invention will probably go down in history. It keeps your head warm AND you can listen to your music through it.
Daisy Beanie New Look £3.50

Isabella Blow was a fashion editor, a style icon and a muse for several designers. Starting off as Anna Wintour's assistant, she eventually became editor of Tatler magazine. Blow is credited for discovering talented designers such as Philip Treacy and Alexander McQueen when she bought his Central Saint Martins graduates collection for £5000 per outfit! Isabella Blow was most known for her flamboyant outfits, which were nearly always accompanied with an exquisite Philip Treacy hat.
1. She wore hats like this
2. She discovered Philip Treacy
3. And Alexander McQueen!!!
4. This editorial
Yes that's Alexander McQueen and Isabella Blow
5. She discovered Stella Tennant
6. Because she walked in the Alexander McQueen AW94 show
7. Because she demanded that all her assistants wore bright lipstick
8. Because no one will ever compare to her street style looks
9. Without her, this probably never would've happened
10. Because she was friends with Andy Warhol
11. And she did a strip tease at his funeral
12. Because she wore a lobster hat Schiaparelli style way before Lady Gaga
13. She was the definition of individuality
14. Because she had a hat shaped as her name
15. Because Alexander McQueen dedicated his SS08 collection to her
16. She wore hats like this
17. And this
18. Because she had the weirdest but best sense of humour
“What I really like are girls in short clothes, very see-through, very sexy, where the man always wants to fuck her. I think it's because I was supposed to be a boy.”- Isabella Blow
19. Because she hated being called eccentric
“Her humour and eye was eccentric, but her brain really wasn’t,” said Nicky Haslam.
If these reasons don't make you love Isabella Blow then you must be a crazy person!
Today was absolutely amazing, I still can't believe that it actually all happened...
First I met up with my friend Ella who was lucky enough to get tickets to the John Rocha show :o
Then we took a few pictures of the awesome street style.
Her shoes <3
This girls' outfit is epic, I love her coat!
Next we went on a hunt for the J.W Anderson show and although we couldn't find it we did manage to find the venue for the Henry Holland! The show started at 7pm so around 6ish I made my way back to the venue and waited hoping that they would let me in. Finally after everyone had gone inside (including Coco Rocha!!!!) they let us in yayayayay. It was one of the best experiences that I've had so far. The venue was this massive warehouse kind of space and immediately after I walked in, I saw Kelly Osbourne interviewing Coco Rocha!
It was such a shock I thought my heart was going to explode. Kelly was so cute and Coco is absolutely stunning and so TALL. Afterwards Kelly did and interview with LILY ALLEN who had on the most beautiful pair of shoes but unfortunately I think I was too star struck to get a picture :p
The collection was definitely the best show that I've been to so far. The clothes were fun and upbeat, full of bright, dynamic colours. There were so many bold prints and the clothes were full of embellishments and sequins. I just wish I could wear them all!
I was also lucky enough to get into Lucas Nascimento show early in the day which wasn't my favourite but the clothes looked so luxurious and powerful.
I can not wait your tomorrow when I'm volunteering at the palmer//harding show!!!! I'm so excited, it's going to be a fantastic experience.
