Thrift Shop Find- Denim Shorts

So I was doing some shopping and I decided to pop into one of my favourite charity shops. I have no money so it was amazing to be in an environment where I can actually afford to buy some clothes ahaha. I found these gorgeous denim shorts for only £2.30. They're high-waisted and perfect for summer.

Zerouv Sunglasses

It's summertime again and although we've hardly seen the sun here in England, I've still been searching for the perfect pair of sunglasses- just in case. Zerouv is an online shop which sells the most amazing and original sunglasses that I have ever seen. And they range from £9.99-£14.95 (bargain!) here are some of my favourites. Molly Goddard Brings Barbie to Fashion

Molly Goddard graduated from Central Saint Martins in 2012 and since then has interned  with the one and only John Galliano and now has released a four piece collection with Asos.

Her graduates show consisted of neon tulles and ethereal ballgowns. Goodman has the talent of creating fascinating garments which truly make pink look chic.

Her recent collection for Asos was inspired by Barbie and the Spice Girls- two of every girl's favourite things. Molly really is living the dream and I cannot wait for what she does next.

Mad for Missoni

I've been obsessed with the menswear runway shows. This is the first time that I've actually been interested in men's clothing and honestly, I never knew it could be so interesting. My favourite collection so far is definitely Missoni; the models were so hot (I want  one!). There were so many fun and unique looks in the show but here are my top 10.

Thigh gaps, collar bones and hip bones

These three things have now become a new 'trend' and hopefully like other fads they'll soon fade away.

Unfortunately, too many teenage girls are starving themselves and over exercising to achieve unhealthy and mostly unattainable goals. Thigh gaps are not an indication of how skinny you are, but in fact how wide your pelvis is. And, believe it or not, its perfectly normal to have a few rolls on your stomach when you sit down- it's not fat, just skin.

I'm not going to list all the health problems that dieting and starving can cause because:-

1. You've probably heard it all before and

2. I know from experience that you probably don't care.

At the moment, I'm stuck between wanting to be healthy and yearning for that 'perfect' body that the media bombards us with every day. When I think about my life in a few years, I don't see myself be a neurotic girl obsessing over whether my thighs touch; I want to be a confident woman who's proud of her body even if it's not society's definition of perfect.

Markus Lupfer

Markus Lupfer is an English designer whom I recently heard about- let's just say if I had the money I think he'd be one of my favourite designers. He graduated from the University of Westminster in 1997 and since then has won the British Fashion Councils New Generation award and Best Designer of the Year in 2008. His Spring/ Summer 2013 collection is effortlessly cool and here are my favourite looks.

Shoe Obsession!

These amazing shoes from Asos are my new obsession. They're a mega £75 so I definitely need to start saving but they are so worth it. I think I prefer the cream ones but I'm not sure, which ones do you guys prefer?

Romwe swimwear

Romwe is one of my favourite online stores. Their designs are always so unique and just fab! Now that summer is just around the corner they've stocked up on new swimwear and they have not disappointed. Unfortunately they are quite expensive :( but choose your favourite and that can be your one special swimsuit for summer- trust me they're worth it.

So one of the things that I really like to do in my free time is to make mood boards with various themes and then design clothes using them. I hope to actually make some of the clothes that I design this summer but some are quite... daring.

Recently I've been really interested in ancient Egypt and I've read loads of books about it. Also one of my favourite trends at the moment is that grunge 90s look. I decided to incorporate the two and see what happened.

I've started drawing some ideas so I'll post them tonight or tomorrow.

Sexy Shoes ;)

These gorgeous sandals from Office are definitely top of my wish list from this summer. They're so sexy but really classy at the same time, the black ones especially can go with any outfit. The black and blue ones are made from suede where as the black and white ones are leather. I think I prefer the suede but I'm not sure, what do you guys think?
