Model of the Moment: Malaika Firth
Since 2011 when Malaika Firth was signed by Premier Model Management, Firth has slowly risen to success. Last year she appeared walked in the Victoria's Secret Catwalk Show, starred in the new Burberry campaign and became the first black model to appear in a Prada editorial since Naomi Campbell in 1994! She's my new favourite model, I think I'm obsessed. I love her unique look, thanks to her Ugandan, Seychellois (that's where I'm from!), Swiss, Kenyan and British roots. I can't wait to see what she does this year and I'm certain that by the end of 2014 Malaika Firth will be a name you all know!

Spring Trends
It's almost spring and it still hasn't snowed... I remember when people were spreading the implausible idea that we were going to have 100 days of snow and now its the end of Winter and we didn't even get 1 day of snow in London.
Since spring is almost upon us, I thought I'd do a quick recap of the trends that we saw on the runway in September and some affordable alternatives to the designer clothes. Please don't take this list as a complete guide on what you have to wear in the next few months; think of it more as a few points of inspiration rather than me or the runway telling you what you must wear.

LCM: Day 3
As LCM comes to a close, the last day of the the shows was definitely a show stopper. Here are some of my favourite collections from today.
The Sibling collection was a quite unwearable but I do really admire their bold design choices, the people who design for Sibling are clearly talented and creative people. However, I would wear that red jumper with the blue and black fur stripes!
I absolutely LOVE the Burberry collection. It was the perfect mix of a youthful eclectic style with that classic Britishness that the brand is known for. The prints were just so beautiful. I love how they somehow managed to make a Hawaiian shirt look really cool, I didn't even think that was possible. I hate the idea of fur, but that fur coat is just gorgeous (I really hope it's fake so I don't feel so bad about saying that ahaha).
I'd never heard of this brand before but I really appreciate how they created a completely monochromatic collection but you could never be bored by it. I love the fur coats and jumpers and the prints are really interesting. I like how the collection is kind of a mix of a futuristic atmosphere with these Aztec prints.

I've never really taken an interest men's fashion but it's been really interesting documenting the London Collections: Men's. All of this fashion week talk has definitely got me excited for London
Fashion Week and I literally cannot wait to go!!!!
